Ricardo Gamboa, President
Mr. Gamboa has over 32 years of experience in higher education in academic affairs; intercollegiate athletics; student services; and outreach & recruitment programs. He has specialized in several areas including, physical education instruction, student support services, college preparatory programs, recruitment and matriculation processes, and school based educational equity programs.
Rick is known for his excellent event and program planning; financial management workshops; dynamic instructional methods; and personnel supervision & staff development practices. Mr. Gamboa was also a successful student athlete in college as a football player on the ELAC State Championship team. He has also coached intercollegiate and high school football for over two decades and has been part of several championship teams at both levels.
Rick has been awarded six patents and seven trademarks by the Office of US Patent & Trademark. He has also developed, and implemented several innovative practices in physical education and athletic training devices that are currently being manufactured and sold in today’s market. He is currently a full time tenured instructor for the Men’s Physical Education Department at East LA College, a part time football coach, a full time family man and father of three sons Richard 31, Michael 30, and Matthew 13, as well as the President/Owner of BORG Unlimited, Inc.
